Book For Sunday - This Saturday Night - Runcorn !!

What ? ..... No Playlist ?

Love to everyone for your continued support

& hats off to you ... who do.

I went to see The Spitting Pips recently ... honestly a top group of lads from Rhyl in London ( for our U.S.A readers ) ... apart from the quality music that they are coming out with, Zack rounded off a few words that could have easily been lost to the smoke of a brilliant night. I noticed though.

Not word for word i must emphasise, but it went something like this ( i think ) .... 'You are boarding up good venues and it IS your fault ! ... Get out again & create a scene ! ... Give the next generation a chance !' ... could have been something completely different but thats along the lines of what I heard.

quality !

unZined - Joe Symes and the Loving Kind

Introducing Joe Symes and the Loving Kind, a four piece acoustic rock band from Liverpool.

Originally a solo musician, Joe Symes found the need to recruit more musicians for his cause and what followed were a string of gigs and performances leading up to their well received self-titled first album.

The band recently took some time out to answer some questions unZined posed to them about about their beginnings, their experience making their first album and their success internationally. Check it out below.

Footy ... Beer & Music

Everton have just won away in Europe 4 - 1 ... Four goals away in Switzerland. You should be sinking your first San Minguel too !

Didn't catch too much of Hapi ... they were playing when I ordered my first ... A few tunes from The Coral Dj set ( between the bands ) which incl this ... & one nil we are on !

Caught the majority of She Drew The Gun ... I'd buy it ... especially the last one they played which was an 'Unfinished Sympathy' of a track minus the, ' I know Ive been mad in Love before' ............   & the loop the loop
Night & Day is filling up

Jade Assembly are quality and they smashed it .. What is the worth of buying a guitar if you can't make it sound like this?  A proper live performance !

The Sundowners ... are simply sunshine in a bag ... I love tambourines, I love jangly guitars & I love San Miguel. I cant believe that I've not caught these live before.
They are well worth catching if you see them about.

Footy ... Beer & Music. A top productive Thursday social that.  Short & Sweet #1

unZined - LazyEye Interview & Review

Scott Powell, the bands lead guitarist and singer, originally, a solo artist, proved his worth gigging in and around his hometown of Stoke on Trent, making a name for himself under the guise of LazyEye. Recently, Scott decided to evolve the his solo act into a four piece band to fit the more grandiose songs he had in mind.

With an array of catchy folk rock tunes and the knack for storytelling, LazyEye are now gigging around the Norhern England and hope to grow their fan base further afield in the UK and more. With supporting Cast's John Power, The Sherlocks and the Sunshine Underground, they hope accomplish this. Already their Facebook page has over two thousand likes and is ever increasing.

I sent some questions to Scott to find out more about LazyEye, their recent charity single and their plans. Check out the interview below:
